Crossroads, a groundbreaking series of programs created by and for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), specifically those who also identify as BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA+.
The name Crossroads reflects our core belief that true inclusion happens at the intersection, where race, disability, gender identity, and other aspects of self meet. These intersections are where both challenge and brilliance live, and this program is designed to honor the complexity and power found there.
Each program will address the need for culturally responsive, trauma-informed spaces where people with I/DD and other marginalized identities can explore the unique complexities experienced by oppressed identities as they intersect with disability.
